     Marcy Gabbett was born. She was the daughter of John Gabbett of Ballyvoneen and Mary Apjohn. Marcy Gabbett married Peter Smithwick the younger, son of Peter Smithwick the elder and Catherine Apjohn, on 9 October 1742. Marcy married her 1st cousin.1
