     Thomas Patrick Garrity was born on 27 December 1879 in Dallas County, Iowa, United States. He married Johanna Agnes Day, daughter of Jeremiah Day and Johanna Ryan, on 11 June 1907 in St. Marys Catholic Church, Guthrie County, Iowa, United States; Standing up for Tom and Agnes were John Day and Nellie O'Brien.1 Thomas Patrick Garrity died on 8 February 1975 in Jefferson, Greene County, Iowa, United States, at age 95.2 He was buried on 11 February 1975 in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Jefferson, Greene County, Iowa, United States; Casket bearers were Eugene Garrity, Clifford Hastie, Tom Garrity, Jerald Gower, Mike Wolterman and Dennis Day.2
