     Jude Murnane was born on 8 February 1825 in Knocklong and Glenbrohane, County Limerick, Ireland; Godparents James Murnane and Mary Walsh. Jude seems an unusual name here. If this were Philip's first son, one would expect him to name him Thomas after his father.1
