The O'Dea Families

     Margaret O'Dea was born on October 4, 1835 in Kilteely Church, Kilteely, County Limerick. Godparents were John O'Dea and Margaret Collins.¹ She was the daughter of Robert O'Dea and Catherine Collins. Margaret O'Dea married William English, son of Patrick English and Margaret McCormick, on February 11, 1866 in Kilteely, County Limerick. William McCormick and Catherine O'Dea were witnesses at the wedding.² Margaret O'Dea died on September 19, 1878 in County Limerick at age 42.³ She was buried in Kilteely Churchyard, Kilteely, County Limerick.³
     She witnessed the birth of Christopher Anderson on February 25, 1860 in Coolbawn in the Parish of Doon, County Limerick. Godparents were Denis Anderson and Margaret Dea.⁴
