Thomas O'Dea was born on July 22, 1847 in Milltown in the Parish of Aglishcormick, Kilteely, County Limerick. Thomas' godparents were John Dea and Jane Bailey (possibly Bartley). He was the son of Darby Day and Johanna Murnane. Thomas O'Dea died before 1848 in Kilteely In the Parish of Aglishcormick, County Limerick. There is no mention of Thomas in any records from the United States. It is likely that he died in infancy, perhaps as a result of the Great Famine that was then devastating Ireland.
