Thomas O'Dea was born on March 18, 1842 in Milltown in the Parish of Aglishcormick, County Limerick. Godparents were Terence O'Dea and Catherine Fitzgerald.1 He was the son of Robert O'Dea and Catherine Collins. Thomas O'Dea married Mary O'Carroll, daughter of Patrick O'Carroll and Bridget Collins, on February 4, 1882 in St. John Cathedral, Limerick, County Limerick. Michael Hayes and Margaret English were witnesses at the wedding.2 Thomas O'Dea died on March 31, 1901 in Ballybrennan in the Parish of Cahernarry, Ardmore, County Limerick, at age 59.
