Thomas Anderson was born in 1834 in Coolbawn in the Parish of Doon, County Limerick. He was the son of Christopher Anderson and Mary Cummins. Thomas Anderson married Mary O'Dea, daughter of Robert O'Dea and Catherine Collins, on January 4, 1859 in Milltown in the Parish of Aglishcormick, County Limerick. Rober O'Dea, John O'Dea and Thomas O'Dea were witnesses at the wedding.1
