     Bridget Cooney was born on May 5, 1854 in County Cork.1,2 She married John Day, son of Darby Day and Johanna Murnane, on September 13, 1872 in Marshall County, Illinois. Witnesses for the marriage were John Moloney and Mary Ryan.3,4,5 Bridget Cooney died on December 24, 1929 in East Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois, at age 75.1 She was buried on December 27, 1929 in St. Dominic Cemetery, Wyoming, Stark County, Illinois.1
     She immigrated in 1857 to New York, New York.2
