     Patrick Linehan was born on April 11, 1847 in Parish of Dromcolliher and Broadford, County Limerick. Godparents were Catherine Sheehy and Des Daly. His parents are listed as Patrick Lenihan and Catherine Collins.2 He married Mary Catherine O'Dea, daughter of Michael O'Dea and Mary Purtell, in 1870 in Port Fairey, Victoria.1 Patrick Linehan died on November 27, 1931 in Moyne Shire, Victoria, at age 84.3 He was buried in Tower Hill Cemetery, Koroit, Moyne Shire, Victoria.3
