Bridget O'Dea was born in 1806 in Lought, Milltown in the Parish of Aglishcormick, County Limerick. She was the daughter of John O'Dea and Mary Apjohn. Bridget O'Dea married Edmond Murphy, son of Phillip Murphy and Kate Hayes, in February, 1831 in Kilteely Church, Kilteely, County Limerick. George Groogan and Johanna Murphy were witnesses at the wedding. Bridget O'Dea died on February 1, 1866 in Ballinlough, County Limerick. She was buried in Ballinlough Churchyard, Kilteely, County Limerick.1
