Edward Apjohn of Dromlara was born circa 1687. He was the son of Michael Apjohn and Christian Lysaght. Edward Apjohn of Dromlara married Catherine Tubbs in 1711.1
Edward Apjohn of Dromlara was living before 27 July 1716 in Dromlara.2 He witnessed the Memorial of William Apjohn of Kilduff on 27 July 1716; On Jul 27, 1716, Edward Apjohn of Dromlara rented the lands of Gortnesky and part of Dromlara from William Apjohn of Kilduff. Witnesses to the memorial are Michael Apjohn, Sadler of Limerick, and Thomas Apjohn of Ballyvoneen. The memorial does not indicate the relationship between Edward and William; however, William was probably his uncle.2 Edward Apjohn of Dromlara left a will in 1733 in Ballyneclogh, Coonagh, County Limerick.3 He was mentioned in the Memorial of James Apjohn on 2 February 1742 as the father of James Apjohn and late of Ballyneclogh; On Feb 2, 1742, James Apjohn of Dublin rented the the lands of Gortnesky and part of Dromlara to John McDonnell. The memorial indicates that the land was rented from William Apjohn late of Kilduff and then of Knicker. The memorial notes that Edward Apjohn was of Drumlara and late of Ballynaclog and that he is the father of James.4
