Bridget O'Dea

     Bridget O'Dea was born on 10 June 1820 in Boheroe in the Parish of Aglishcormick, County Limerick, Ireland; Godparents were Phillip Lowry and Margaret O'Dea.1 She married John Lynch, son of Michael Lynch and Bridget Connell, on 3 March 1840 in Kilteely Church, Kilteely, County Limerick, Ireland; Witnesses were Philip Lowry and Margaret Dea.1 Bridget O'Dea died on 2 May 1872 in Dennington, Victoria, Australia, at age 51. She was buried in Tower Hill Cemetery, Tower Hill, Victoria, Australia; Although John and Bridget Lynch are buried next to Bridget's brother Michael, there is no headstone marking their grave.
     She immigrated with John Lynch on 3 June 1841 to Port Phillip, Victoria, Australia; John and his family arrived onboard the Duchess of Northumberland.2
