David Hickey married Mary Agnes Day, daughter of Darby Day and Johanna Murnane, on November 13, 1866 in Henry, Marshall County, Illinois. Witnesses were Thomas Brown and Helena Darsey.1,3 David Hickey died on July 5, 1903 in Saratoga Township, Camp Grove, Marshall County, Illinois, at age 72.4 He was buried in St. Patrick Cemetery, Marshall County, Illinois.5,4
