Johanna Mary Hickey died on January 31, 1921 in Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Vigo County, Indiana, at age 50.2 She was buried in Sisters of Providence Cemetery, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Vigo County, Indiana.2
     She joined before 1900 in The Sisters of Providence, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Vigo County, Indiana.2
